House Heartbreak

The long break in my posting is due to the fact that I've spent much of my free time house hunting. Countless hours of online research, driving around, scouting out possible areas I'd like to live, seeing house after house after house...you know the drill.

This past Saturday, I found a lovely home in Jefferson and made an offer yesterday afternoon. I felt good about my bid, especially considering that the house had been on the market for 200+ days. Well, to make a long story short, another bid came in on the same day and I was outbid.

Sigh. Back to the drawing board.
